“ Great food! Good service. The only thing I'd change is getting it to go. It was a bit cramped inside but what can you expect for a Sunday lunch rush ”
“ Super clean. Very nice atmosphere. The servers were all very attentive and friendly. No hibachi tables but we prefer to sit alone anyway. The food: crab rangoons are in a soft flour wrap. Not good. The spring rolls were a bit mushy inside but nice and crispy outside and a great dipping sauce. The shrimp tempura roll was excellent except they are the size of a wagon wheel and nori is hard to bite in half The chicken noodle soup was a nice change. The salad dressing is really good! I had filet and shrimp. The filet was ordered medium rare and came extra well done. Yuck. Tasty if you like grilled leather. Mike had the filet noodles. Also medium rare order but extra well done. If they can learn to cook steak, this place would be amazing We will go again if visiting and insist that they not cook our steak into oblivion ”

“ Honestly not many good options for Japanese in Philadelphia, but the best place to go is Yamato. I always get the steak and fried rice and it never fails. Service is awesome too! No matter if you go in and dine, or decide to order online and take out, 99% of the time it's gonna be correct and on time. Inside is great too. Clean and organized with not too much going on which is a good thing for me. I enjoy places that aren't loud and this place hits the spot. ”

“ This is by far the best Japanese restaurant in a 50 mile radius of Meridian, MS. We'll worth the short drive up to Philadelphia (about 35 miles). Sushi is fresh, well prepared and presented. Hibachi is just about perfect. Soups have the right amount of seasoning and are not overloaded with extras like seaweed and tofu Highly recommended and not overpriced ”
